John Laskowski is a visual artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Raised in the Polish Hill neighborhood, he trained in visual arts at The Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts High School and studied studio arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Blending oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, textiles, scuplture and digital media, John transforms the ordinary into something sacred. His work often explores the tension between matter and meaning; how simple particles can be shaped into visual narratives that evoke both beauty and comfort.

Beyond his studio practice, John is deeply involved in the local art community. He collaborates with fellow artists, participates in group projects and supports creative initiatives throughout Pittsburgh.
